Fall of the Bees

The death of large numbers of bees due to pesticides continues to go unnoticed by the majority of the world. This major problem has an enormous effect on all the organisms living on Earth and it needs to become a larger priority for humans to protect these beloved creatures. If our planet continues to ignore our allies known as bees they may disappear permanently.

What will it take for people to “wake up” and notice the current problem of bee disappearances? Sadly, I believe that people will not begin to take action in this problem until the majority of bees die off. If nothing changes, and people who do know of the deaths of these bees continue to ignore the problem then these bees will be forever gone and it will dramatically affect every living organism dwelling on this planet. I personally believe that if we continue to ignore this dilemma, by the time a majority of the human population knows of our bee problem it will be too late and our lives will become bland without these beautiful bees in which we have the honor of being able to coincide with. However, if more people begin to devote their time to teaching others of bees being killed by pesticides than there may be hope for bees everywhere.

Though, if things do not change and bees are not saved there will be everlasting negative effects on our Earth. Bees pollinate a majority of plants. Without bees pollinating these plants not only will people need to live without honey, they will need to live without much of the plants that rely on bees for pollination. This will then cause many consumers to starve because they will not have access to their food sources. After many years the Earth may very well become a desolate wasteland all due to humans not caring for these important bees that have given us nearly everything.
